Owen Sound - August 13, 2013 - The Owen Sound Attack is announcing that the installation of the new Video Scoreclock at the Harry Lumley Bayshore Community Centre has been delayed and will now take place from September 4th-6th.

The re-scheduling of the installation has been caused by a delay in the fabrication of additional support pieces required to hang the clock. The new installation timeline will not interfere with any training camp or exhibition schedule that has been previously released by the Attack, however; the Attack will be practicing at the Julie McArthur Regional Recreation Centre from 3:30-5:30pm from September 4th-6th.

The installation of the new speaker system at the Bayshore is proceeding as scheduled while the new computer and electronics system for the clock will be delivered next Monday, allowing Attack staff to continue to prepare for the new Video Scoreclock.

“Unfortunately, this isn’t the news we were hoping for regarding the new Video Scoreclock, however; the new timeline will still allow for our organization to proceed as scheduled.”, stated Attack Director of Marketing and Public Relations. “We’d like to thank the City of Owen Sound for their continued support and understanding regarding this matter and we look forward to proceeding with this wonderful addition to our facility.”

The Attack will utilize the current clock for training camp and the exhibition game against Barrie on September 1st.
