Spokane - August 24, 2013 - All ten of the Spokane Chiefs' 2013 WHL Bantam Draft selections are in attendance at Fall Camp this weekend, looking to make an impression on the hockey staff in scrimmages and practice sessions on the ice.

The Chiefs selected five forwards, four defensemen and a goaltender in this year's draft, including three defensemen with their first three picks.

First-rounder Jeffrey Faith is one of six defensemen on Team Cowen, joining returners Jason Fram and Jeremy McIntosh.

"Jeff and the other 1998-born defensemen have been great. We have been very impressed by our young group and how they have adjusted to the speed and intensity of our camp," Director of Player Personnel Chris Moulton said.

Also on Team Cowen are newly drafted forwards Taylor Ross (4th Round, 82nd Overall), of Kronau, SK, and Kailer Yamamoto (5th Round, 105th Overall), of Spokane. The hometown Yamamoto has caught the eye of scouts with his speed and skill during scrimmages through Day 1.

"Taylor and Kailer have been great together. The group of '98 forwards have done very well," Moulton added.

"It's important for young guys to come to camp and experience our program and our city. We are so happy to have them and their families here."
