Petes Defeat Owen Sound in Shoot-out
The Peterborough Petes defeated the Owen Sound Attack in a shoot-out on Saturday night. It was the first road game of the season for the Petes, and the first win for the squad. Jonatan Tanus scored the winning shoot-out goal, while Nick Ritchie added two assists as the Petes scoring leader on the night.

Peterborough - September 22, 2013 - The Peterborough Petes defeated the Owen Sound Attack in a shoot-out on Saturday night. It was the first road game of the season for the Petes, and the first win for the squad.

Neither team held a lead for more than a few minutes throughout the game, and the game was very balanced through three periods and over-time. Petes goalie Michael Giugovaz stopped 37 shots in the 4-3 win, including three shoot-out attempts by the Attack.

Jonatan Tanus scored the winning shoot-out goal, while Nick Ritchie added two assists as the Petes scoring leader on the night. A full recap is available online at www.gopetesgo.com

The Petes next game is at home against the Plymouth Whalers on Thursday, September 26th at 7:05pm at the Peterborough Memorial Centre.
