Windsor Spitfires announce community partnership with SNAPD Windsor

The Spitfires are pleased to announce the formation of a new community partnership with SNAPD Windsor. Through a variety of programs and initiatives, the Spitfires pride themselves on being an active partner that supports: grade schools and high schools, local charitable groups, social agencies, service-based organizations and fundraising initiatives in Windsor and Essex County

Windsor - July 11, 2013 - The Spitfires are pleased to announce the formation of a new community partnership with SNAPD Windsor.

Through a variety of programs and initiatives, the Spitfires pride themselves on being an active partner that supports: grade schools and high schools, local charitable groups, social agencies, service-based organizations and fundraising initiatives in Windsor and Essex County; on its own and in tandem with the Windsor Spitfires Foundation.

The Spitfires plan to be out in the community more than ever during the 2013-14 season. And while its dedicated staff is out covering all that's going on this fall and winter, SNAPD Windsor will help us tell the stories of the people and organizations doing outstanding and unheralded work that makes a difference in Windsor & Essex County.

Fans will also be seeing a lot of SNAPD Windsor on game nights this season at the WFCU Centre. They'll be at every home game, taking pictures of Spitfire fans. And at each game, the night's best will be recognized on the jumbotron and on Twitter as the “@SnapdWindsor Snapshot of the Game”.
